Living from that sacred space within

Growing up we are generally taught to make the outside world come first, through commercialism, how we look, what gadget we must have, or what car or house or holiday is next on the to do list. All or any is the perfect route to being happy. This is so wrong.  We must instead let go and focus instead on our inner us. Our core self, that place within that is sacred, not scared as I wrote earlier today. Its the place of our unwounded self, the place that has existed through all time. It’s our soul, our divine essence our true self.

Marianne Williamson wrote in return to love – Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

So as we begin to explore and let go all those false selfs, constructs, we picked up along the way, our new truth becomes this and we live from that internal sacred space within us and oh how that begins to liberate and transforms us.
