It’s Hogmanay in Scotland, thats the word for the last day of 2024. A wee post about things anew starting 2025. I am going to be offering Sacred Ceremony for both individuals & small groups. These will be in person to start with.
In the picture here – is my animal skin Drum – I purchased it just as we were coming out of Covid.
Recently I believed it was time to pass it on to an aquaintance just starting their Shamanic work.
I arranged a meeting to pass on the Drum to this person for them to trial working with it.
However, the drum had other ideas and it began to pass me messages, basically, it wanted to stay.
A few nights ago mid December 2024, the Drum sent me dream, stating most strongly she was to stay and we had more work to do.
I listened. 🙂
Background –
Shamanic Training
I began my first Shamanic Practioner training in 2014, 1o years ago. I have completed a few more shamanic trainings since then with different teachers here in Scotland.
IFS/Counselling
Up until now, most of my work has been in Counselling (25 yrs), with my favoured current Model being Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy. (6 years).
All of my Counselling career my CPD has been dedicated to helping me understand and work with people who have experienced Trauma.
After, I completed my Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling 2003, I went on and trained in Reiki, because I was looking for a more inclusive way to work, that included a Spritual & Holistic Approach.
Reiki and later Shamanic training gave me the addition tools I required to work more inclusively including the Spiritual & Holistic.
Back to today, IFS for me is like going on a Shamanic Journey, the work is inward, and bodily focussed. Whereby we find parts ready to ‘do the work’ of becoming known, of telling their story, somatically via feelings, sensations or via images.
Until now my Shamanic input has been more in the backgound, as an underpining of IFS/Counselling. Allowing a base and a belief system, to help hold and contain sessions along with working with a belief that says – “we are all one”.
Ths Drum, has shown me it’s time for my Sacred Ceremony & Shamanic work to be more upfront.

A rough outline of the Ceremony
Each Sacred Ceremony will be set up in a pre- prepared Shamanic space or we can do this together as well.
I will Drum or play a Drumming track and guide you on an inward journey, opening the heart and working through it’s beautiful energy.
My Shamanic Guides and Helpers of the Light (collectively known as The Cosmic Shamanicans) will guide my words and how the journey lands.
Group Ceremony will be slightly different and there will be a theme connected to them, more details are still to be explored. I will publish these when I am ready to start.
Update- since I wrote this post, 6 weeks ago, my work focus has changed and I am no longer taking on new IFS/Counselling clients. My life focus has changed, my personal life has changed.
My beautiful parents ages, 90 and 93 are suddenly requiring more support so change is in the air.
I will remain working with current IFS/Counselling clients until my preplanned retiral date July 2026.
My focus now is with the ISIS energy healing and Reiki energy healing.
My Ceremonial work will be group work and I hope to get that up and running later i n the year.
