| What a fabulous syncronous webinar today on, Exploring the Spiritual and Energetic nature of IFS therapy. |
It was excellent and there is follow up CPD availalble if you are interested 23rd and 30th of January. see Life Architect at IFS Poland for more info. https://lifearchitect.com/workshops/
I will be attending.
For me it confirms so much about IFS as a Spiritual approach and explains how some IFS practices are linked to Shamanism or Shamanic ways of working.
Having trained in both IFS and as a Shamanic Practitioner and I am also an energy healer as a Reiki Master. This webinar puts into words for me and explains the links between all 3 modalities.
I absolutely love this and have often longed for the cognitive abilty to do just this.
It’s also why I love IFS as a Therapy Model as it includes the Spiritual and allows me to bring in my Shamanic training and Reiki energy healing.
This is something as a person with dyslexic tendancies I find very difficult, so the webinar was very affirming and validating, I am on the the right track, I knew that. But it’s always good to have it affirmed.

In IFS we look to see if we can connect with a part to work with.
This experience goes beyond words and works with sensations, images, feelings or thoughts, which are all directly somatic experiences, included and felt in or around the body.
I understand this as each of these parts will have a different energetic signature or blueprint, which we then find a way energetically to connect with and go forward from there.
The part might be represented as the colours in the picture above here or something else.
I really like the idea of parts being represented as something- I have a strong visual sense so thats easy for me, but there are a few different ways of meeting with experiencing your parts.
To help identify our parts, we use the senses, so we might feel, see, imagine, or sense a part of us.
There is no right or wrong and all parts are welcome as model founder Richard Schwartz says.
This post is just a snippet of information, I am really looking forward to a deeper dive at the training days to coming up soon.
